Using convection as a driving design element, this Spa and Boathouse features a walkable green roof with a mesh covered exhaust ports, allowing for hot air to rise and to be experienced on the roof. The flow of movement was inspired by heat as well, looking at how heat maps show the flow of cold/hot water being mixed together. The Spa/Boathouse also includes an indoor pool, outdoor pool, sauna, bathrooms, showers, main office, storage, and a rowing training center.
